Is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR AŻJATIKU għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej imissu u s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jaqbdu ftit xagħar mill-ġenb ta’ fuq ir-ras. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal AŻJA li jsir b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Il-ponn jinfetaħ kif jagħti skoss ħafif ’il quddiem imbagħad l-id timxi f’linja kkurvata ’l isfel u lejn il-ġenb.
The sign for ASIAN HAIR has two parts. (i) First, the sign for HAIR is made with one hand that takes the shape of F with thumb and index finger touching and the other fingers apart and palm facing outwards. The thumb and index finger hold onto some strands of hair from the side top of the head. (ii) Then the sign for ASIA is made with one hand in the shape of a fist with the palm facing outwards. The fist opens up as it moves forward in a small jerky movement and the hand then moves in a curved line downwards to the side.
